tushar found a stick on the way , the rest of us paid 20 bucks for bamboo, it was to help us climb hills. now he's just posing with it.

eventually the sun started to shine bright and hot on us all and we had to use our sunglasses and caps, our skins were protected by 50SPF sunscreen.

came across a MAOIST post, they were scaring ppl into paying them money. we got lucky coz we said we were manipal students, and then took photos with them too. well, thats zoheb with me, not a maoist!
the red maoist flag!

here we reached a bridge, sam took the pic. the funny thing here is tushar hit his genitals here with his stick, fooling around! his stick broke!

zoheb had his stick like an antenna, check out his cool gogs.

anu looked like a japanese tourist on the 1st day of trek

on the rocks. ken and his stick. the 1st river we came across.

who loves ken

sam and a japanese tourist and a local tourist uncle! wierd combo.

zoheb and anu take a break near the flowing waters, oh its the jap tourist!

start of our foot terrain, with bridges so very often. with the heavy bags on our shoulders pressing us down, simple straight walks wasnt easy at all!

ken poses, while he doesnt know that behind his back, the world is going to war! yes, zoheb is the terrorist - suicide bomber. ah! thus the antenna!

fine picnic spot for locals.

the three musketeers, near our 1st encountered waterfall on the trek. we got so excited seeing this one, which we realised was pretty ordinary.

and yet again anu. frm japan ;) . cool pic to send to friends and family.

ken in front of a beautiful waterfall over a rock.

long, winding, but still the paths were flat, not yet climbing hills and crossing valleys

rest stops were like oasis , we filled up water (added chlorine drops to clean it), took rest coz our shoulders were getting sore. check out zoheb's coolness man, sambhav looks an idiot nxt to him. yeah zoheb bro!

tushar, me and sam had a detour on the way where we relaxed on the river bank topless, soaking up the sun and having a snack. was a gd time.

another rest stop, and on these stops, we could check our progress on these trekking maps the
ACAP ppl have provided. they r really useful as they tell u how much time it'll take to other stops.
oh , and the food and drinks costs r regulated by those ppl too, so as u ascend, they rise!

a beautiful spot to sit and relax, especially with zoheb, a gr8 guy and gr8 friend. really respect his ideals and principles. he's a very simple guy, which is why he's so lovable. and he's polite and has a power brain, gr8 knowledge of current affairs and history! boy!

view from a height.

tushar tried to attack me with his broken stick, but i was 'chal raha hai'.

tushar got tired very often on the 1st day.

we're dead! heat stroke.

wetting our feet in the beautiful stream of clear flowing water.

anu and ken , and the nature.

the chicken there were abundant and big!

mountain goat. looks gd rite? what were u expecting ? a yeti ?

alone, resting on the long stairway up to our 1st stop Gandhruk, aptly named!

tushar washed his face and his body under this pipe. very refreshing.

the view was amazing frm up here. can u appreciate the rainbow?

zoheb decided he'd scare that little girl standing on the way! muuaaaahhhh!

it was actually sunscreen on wet skin!
