out with megha the other day for a movie trip to TM
watched 'THE MIST' ...

another day ... akanksha, nisha and nandini at tampines mall too, watched 27 DRESSES . 4 stars .
then hung out at the mall and starbucks! had a great laugh with them.

out with hau yiang and krishna to check out this medical book store near bugis.

who's the pig eh ? lol

a lot of books there , but didnt see any that i needed.
just yesterday was the 'class gathering' ... another one planned by hau yiang!

grace is moving to australia for her studies, but is worried she might get an indian landlady!

IBM place , a ritual

so yet again my laptop goes bad. some startup problems. i had to get it done at IBM place. had been there last time too ...

its becoming a ritual visit now.

at the bus stop near my building, chose the best day to get out ... look at the wonderful weather!

this is where i get down to go kembangan mrt station,
u can see the Trumps condo behind me ... pretty cool.

at the ibm place near expo. those guys helped me restore it for free. and i had krishna join me to chat, so we were sipping juice and chatting abt college while the lappy did itself :)
thats krishna, now in 5th sem (clinicals)
done with the laptop ... so we left ibm.
the sun was coming out strong again.

haha this expo station looks like a UFO just landed! lol

T3 changi

i was out with krishna, so after my laptop got repaired at the IBM place, near expo, we decided to check out the new terminal

reached the airport mrt station >>

looks like an arrival hall in itself! great architecture.
the whole of singapore's current network. its gonna be more complex soon ... with the new circle lines and proposed additional line ...

going towards the T3 building. the other direction leads to T1 and T2.

just reached the stunning T3.

anyway .. so the entrance to T3 was pretty neat .... our mouths were open when we saw the ceiling and all... gg up the escalator to the departure area.
this is a restaurant near the departure area, japanese i guess,
from a wall of glass, we can see the arrival hall and its baggage claim area. a real work of art. totally beats other airports around the world i guess ... the huge thing in the middle is a vertical waterfall! and the green stuff r real plants on a vertical garden, which stretches thru the whole length of the terminal!
the main hall with marble floors and tall pillars giving a very elegant and grand feel.
and the roof has adapted natural lighting.
check in row 11 , the whole of this terminal serves singapore airlines mostly! and is equipped with gates to handle the airbus A380!!

the viewing gallery not only provides view of the runway and parked planes, but also inside the transit area!
there! i told ya! papa says the carpet makes the trolleys difficult to push ... hmmm ... something the designers missed out ?

before leaving we had a cup of coffee at the coffee bean .

out with nandini a lot coz she had 2 days off!
so decided to give the IBM-place a visit ... becoming a ritual now !

coz my lappy broke down again :S

reached expo, and caught nan trying to steal away the 'A' frm hall 6A ... bad girl!
one of the better designed mrt stations i guess... the roof looks good.

papa's motorola repair

so papa had to get his motorola razr bluetooth corrected,
and it was a sat'day so we began by gg parkway to get some pastamania!!

and yeah, since chinese new yr's ard the corner.... lots of CNY decor!
like these crackers at pricebreaker shop at parkway.



lorrrve the pastas and the garlic bread with the tabasco and the view ...
didnt have sweet corn soup ... :(

then we hopped on to cathay (the new mall ... dunno if its called cathay or not :P)

it turned out to be a software problem and was fixed easily.

we spent some time at coffeeclub .. had this delicious stuff!! tiramisu with chocolate powder on it! ...ahhhhh.

its so joyful to leave nepal :)

after a gruelling exam semester, i left for home with my friends, unsure abt the results that await us after a month or so...

only given a pitiful 3 week holiday after we gave our lives mugging and mugging for the exams!

still, we leave determined to make something out of these 3 wks and enjoy to the fullest~

leaving the hostel with zoheb and sambhav. poor sambhav had eye pract last, he lost his sight :(
haha , just outside our yeti flight.
zoheb took 'camera-shy' to a whole new level - ppl look down , but he's closed his eyes completely!

they fly to sri lanka frm bkk after a 3 hr stop!

lucky me, i just hop off this and hop onto the sg flight!
